The study of Art and History of Art has not been as popular as the study of subjects such as Science, Management, and IT among Sri Lankan Students and elders. This Certificate Course unit intends to expose art lovers to art, art history in a broader sense in a way of very simple. Therefore, the course is primarily concerned with the history of visual art and the course provides a clear and brief overview of some of the key debates that have shaped artists and art theorists’ concern.
