උපාධි ලාභීන්ගේ නාම ලේඛනය
2026 අගෝස්තු මස 17 වන දින පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත වාණිජ හා කළමනාකරණ අධ්යයන පීඨය/වෛද්ය පීඨය/පරිගණක හා තාක්ෂණ පීඨය සහ පුරාවිද්යා පශ්චාත් උපාධි ආයතනය සඳහා වන උපාධි ප්රදානෝත්සවය වෙනුවෙන් නියමිත සුදුසුකම් සපුරා ඇති උපාධි ලාභීන්ගේ නාම ලේඛන එක් එක් සැසි අනුව පහත දක්වා තිබේ.එහි උපාධි ලාභීන්ගේ නම් ඉදිරියෙන් දක්වා ඇති අංක එක් එක් උපාධි ලාභියා හට හිමි ආසන අංකය වේ.
ඒ් අනුව විභාග අංශය විසින් සඳහන් කර ඇති උපදෙස් අනුගමනය කර උපාධි ලෝගු හා කරමාල ලබා ගැනීම සඳහා පහත දක්වා ඇති දිනයන්හි විභාග අංශය වෙත පැමිණ අනන්යතාවය තහවුරු කර ආසන අංකය සඳහන් කිරිමෙන් පසු උපාධි ලෝගු හා කරමාල ලබා ගැනීමට හැකි බව මෙයින් දන්වා සිටිමි.

The numbers indicated in front of each graduands name denote their respective seat numbers.
Accordingly, graduands are informed to follow the instructions mentioned by the Examination Division to obtain their Cloaks and Garlands. You can collect the Cloaks and Garlands by appearing at the Examination Division on the dates mentioned below, verifying your identity, and indicating your seat number.

🎓 උපාධි ප්රදානෝත්සවය - 2026 අගෝස්තු 17
The Cloaks and Garlands will be issued on Sunday 16th August 2026 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the Examinations Branch of the University of Kelaniya. You are required to produce your Student's Identity Card, National Identity Card or Passport in order to obtain Cloaks and Garlands. Cloaks and Garlands will not be issued to those who fail to produce any of those to prove their identity.

The Inauguration Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Year of the Post Graduate Institute of Archaeology (PGIAR) was held today, marking a successful beginning to a new chapter. We extend our warmest congratulations to the new scholars who have joined us to explore our heritage and history through a scientific lens!
This prestigious event was presided over by Dr. Arjuna Thantilage, Director of the PGIAR, and was enriched by the presence of renowned experts in the field.

'Seth Pirith' Chanting Ceremony for Newly Appointed PGIAR Director
A solemn 'Seth Pirith' chanting ceremony was held today at the Post Graduate Institute of Archaeology (PGIAR) to invoke blessings upon the newly appointed Director, Dr. Arjuna Thantilage, who assumed duties on January 13, 2026.
The ceremony was conducted under the patronage of the Most Venerable Aludeniye Subodhi Thero, Chief Incumbent of the Seruwavila Mangala Raja Maha Vihara, alongside the Maha Sangha. The spiritual gathering aimed to bless Professor Thantilage’s new tenure and ensure the institute's future prosperity.
Dr. Arjuna Thantilage has been appointed as the new Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology (PGIAR), University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, effective from January 13th, 2026.

Weekend Schedule: Regular teaching sessions for Postgraduate Diploma, MA, and MSc programs will be held on both Saturdays and Sundays.
First weekend: March 7 (Saturday) & March 8 (Sunday).
Venue: Lectures are held at the PGIAR main premises, located at No. 407, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 07.
